Our Business Background and Experience

Transpacific Marine Co., Ltd. was incorporated in Taiwan and began building yachts 40 years ago. Additionally, for the last 20 years, the company has overseen the production and export of various kinds of hardware and bath and beauty products. Twelve years ago, the boat building operation was moved to Ningbo, in Mainland China, not far from Shanghai. However the head office remains in Taipei, and daily operations and business are handled there.

In the complex construction of our yachts, we have designed some of our specialized yacht hardware, and have followed the process from having wooden molds carved, to the bronze castings, to machining and polishing, and installation. We continue to manufacture many types of stainless steel hardware for each of our yachts.

Our Taipei head office has Chinese, American and Italian staff. Between our staff we can communicate in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, English and Italian, and know how to conduct business and negotiate with the local and mainland Chinese people.

We served as a Liaison office for Lehman /Sabre Marine Engines for 11 years and handled Taiwan engine sales and service, and provided installation advice.

We have served as a Liaison office for a few American Companies for Bath and Beauty products, doing sourcing, inspection, export paperwork, paying manufacturers etc.

We have served as a Liaison office for Ode Products in Seattle for many years. We look for China and Taiwan manufactures to fabricate their special metal tools and products, produce gift items, and include inspecting, handling export paperwork, paying bills, etc. as our responsibility.
